Anderson looks ahead to 2015

American 400m hurdler Jeshua Anderson reflected on his 2014 season and how it has been a good base for the year up ahead.
“For me, 2014 was a good learning season,” said Jeshua. “I learned a lot in 2014 with my new coaching staff in Stu (McMillan) and Andreas (Behm). They helped me with aspects of my race I didn’t look at in college. It’s been beneficial for me to have the same routine and know the expectations of the coaches.”
“It was a good year to take stock and figure out my training and what I need to be doing.”
“Towards the end of the year I figured out my race and to build-up a foundation of knowing how to run the race. When I do get to it, I’ve put the work in.”
“It was a good year to take stock and figure out my training and what I need to be doing. So I’m looking forward to this year, it should be a great year for me.”
Jeshua’s training group at the World Athletics Center in Phoenix has grown with the success of the Center and the new dynamic is helping to push the athlete to greater times.
“The new people around help to push you on the performance side. It’s great having a training group and I know it will translate when I start competing again in the new year.”
