With just over 300 days to go to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, former USA Champion Jeshua Anderson returns back to Washington State to be reunited with his college coach.
Anderson, a three-time NCAA Champion in the 400m hurdles, is back in the North-West to team up with Mark MacDonald who proceeded over Jeshua’s most successful spell in his career.
“It’s fantastic to be back home in Washington State,” reflected Anderson. “It is an important year for me and I have already started to get to work.”
“I am feeling in really good shape and will be doing all I can to be competing in Brazil next year.”
“It has been my dream to compete for America at the Olympic Games, and I am really looking forward to making that dream become a reality.”
Alongside MacDonald, the former Cougar is working with Strength & Conditioning coach Tim Manson, in a bid to increase his volume as he gears up for the 2016 season.
“I am enjoying training so far. It’s been tough but a challenge that I love. It’s been great to be back amongst some old faces and I love bumping in to old friends from my Washington State days.”
