Anderson runs World Lead at Sun Angel Classic

10th April 2016

Jeshua Anderson backed up his impressive start to the outdoor season with a new World Lead time at the Sun Angel Classic in Arizona.

It’s the 400m hurdlers’ third World Lead in three races dropping a time of 48.92 as he continues his preparation for Olympic trials in July.

“The last couple of meets I’ve been running really conservatively,” Anderson said. “That’s not really how I run. I run aggressively on the front end and I tried to do that today.”

“I felt I could have run a lot faster.”

“There were a few hurdles I wasn’t as technically sound as I would have liked to.”
