Jeshua ‘It’s Go Time!’
1st July 2016
As the USATF Olympic trials get underway in Eugene, 400m hurdler Jeshua Anderson is preparing back in Washington State before he heads down for the last few days of competition.
“I run next Thursday,” said Jeshua who is aiming to be on the plane to Rio. “I’ve been doing all I can to be as sharp as possible and be ready to go. I’m living in the moment each day, doing what I can as best as I can. I’m looking forward to making some great memories this upcoming week.”
“The Olympics is the biggest event worldwide and people always ask as soon as they know I’ve run track ‘have you been to the Olympics?’. In Olympic years the profile of the sport grows, I get a lot more questions from people about it.”
“I’ve been training for it for over four years. A lot of hours of training and recovery – I know I’ve put in the work so it’s just about letting it loose.”
Jeshua gets his campaign underway in the first round of men’s 400m hurdles on Thursday July 7 at 6:53 pm.
