Jeshua second at Ponce Grand Prix

18th May 2014

Jeshua returned to action at the Ponce Grand Prix in Puerto Rico this Saturday with a solid performance, finishing second, behind home crowd favourite Javier Culson.

The American 400m hurdler posted a season’s best time of 49.22 in the Paquito Montaner Stadium, just behind Culson, but confident that there is more to come.

“Overall I am pleased, it’s another step forward,” said Jeshua. “I didn’t put in as much energy as I wanted at the start but I finished strong.”

“I am progressing and I am happy that the finish was better.”
